/ ABOUT THE PROJECT
Lucknow's first Halloween festival, this project is an event by the Melon's Studio - the biggest third space curators of the city.
I developed the festival's visual identity system that stayed rooted in the cultural character of the city while attracting a rapidly evolving tier-2 city audience. Saturated graphics were used extensively as a tool to resonate with the youthful energy and the experimental spirit of the event.
Lights, Frights, Action
A cohesive system of logos across multiple sizes, colour distribution palettes, expressing typography, and repeatable graphic motifs kept the visual direction simple, adaptable, and easily understandable.
This system blended vintage horror imagery with bright modern elements, evoking a feeling of nostalgic spookiness within contemporary compositions.

Play by the Rules
The brand guidebook preserved the distinctive tone of the visual system by documenting the usage of graphic treatments across various formats. It defined the scalability of the identity to remain consistent across different applications.

Paranormal Papers
The on-ground experience was developed with to actively interact with the attendees.
Each piece of media contributed to a unified brand experience that carried the festival's atmosphere beyond screens and into the physical venue.

Feed Your Soul
To position the festival as a fresh cultural experience in Lucknow, recognisable digital media created anticipation ahead of the events.
These assets embraced new forms of creative direction to drive engagement and reach through consistent illustrative, motif, and tonal usage.
