/ ABOUT THE PROJECT

Kaze was the digital edition of Breeze, Shiv Nadar University’s annual fest, reimagined for a fully online environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I shaped the festival's visual direction, crafting a cyberpunk-inspired identity where student communities collectively participated through digital spaces.

Digital Footprint

The logo weaves Roman and Japanese typographic systems into a wordmark.

The intentionally saturated colour system was built around the illumination of neon artificial light, and the supporting type system was curated to feel futuristic and immersive.

Campaigns Across The Network

A visually cohesive world across print and digital media carried the cyberpunk-inspired festival identity across campuses, platforms, and communities.

Many of these visuals were experimental in nature and drew inspiration from contemporary technology, such as circuit diagrams, digital interfaces, and software glitches. This allowed the design system to feel fragmented within the identity system we had built.

Kaze.exe

The Kaze website acted as the central hub for the online experience that hosted the registration window, lineup announcement screens, and information pages.

The user interface was designed to drive readership to every page, while reinforcing the feeling of the neon dystopian visual identity.
